Ranex Rustbuster provides very good adhesion to coatings. If the surface is to be overpainted, any 1K and 2K primer or coating can be used.

Remove rust

• Remove loose paint and rust.
• Clean the surface with a degreaser.
• Ensure the surface is dry.
• Ranex Rustbuster can be applied with a roller or brush.
• Let Ranex Rustbuster dry for 24 hours.

Remove flash rust with RANEX Rustbuster

With Ranex Rustbuster, you can also remove flash rust, particularly on stainless steel and chrome. You can also easily remove rust and rust spots on coatings with RANEX. To use Ranex as a flash rust remover, you must apply the product differently than you normally would. Follow the steps below to remove flash rust with Ranex Rustbuster.

• Apply Ranex Rustbuster with a brush or roller.
• Let it soak in for 15 to 30 minutes.
• Caution, do not let the product dry out!
• Rust removed? Rinse it with water or wipe it with a wet cloth.
